This bird wants to be a gymnast.
The reservoir by our apartment has become quite a blackbird habitat, with both red-winged and yellow-headed blackbirds flying around. We especially enjoy the yellow-headed blackbirds’ calls, since they sound like the ending to a classic video game.

We are no longer in a heat advisory - SC is now in an "excessive heat warning" with temps (plus humidity) reaching 115 F. I think the almost 10 pounds of fruit I bought may have been a bit excessive. The peaches ripening on my table think otherwise.
