
Egg Closeup
This year, like the last several years, we chose to color Easter eggs. We boiled the water, cooked the eggs, and prepared the Paas dye (with vinegar, so the eggs would be very bright). We also tried to use silk to dye the eggs (thanks to Louisa’s parents for sending us the silk and instructions); we discovered that the reds transferred the best. Next year, we will have to try this method again.
