Outside THEhotel
After spending time at Hoover Dam, we drove back to Las Vegas and checked into THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. The lobby was slightly confusing and not as impressive as the one at Red Rocks. However, once we were told that we had been upgraded to one of their suites on the 62nd floor, the maze-like qualities of the building were forgiven. We checked into our room and marveled at the view. We also explored the casino and got dinner at one of the Asian restaurants there.
THEtable in the THEroom
After dinner, with the night ahead of us, we decided to explore The Strip. We wandered past Excalibur, New York New York, and MGM Grand. We wandered inside MGM Grand and got dessert at the Rainforest Cafe. We also walked by Paris, the Hard Rock Casino, and the Bellagio. The landscaping at the Bellagio was gorgeous; we also went into the lobby and saw the conservatory and botanic gardens. We got outside just in time to see the water and music show.
