Fall Campus Walk
Nov 13th, 2008 by Louisa

The Campus at CU is one of our go-to places when we want to take a nice walk, look at the leaves and buildings, and just get away from the hustle of the city. One thing to note - the campus is at the base of the foothills, and is often quite windy and several degrees cooler than areas at lower elevations or further from the foothills. We also enjoy playing frisbee on the campus, since we don’t need to worry about any dog “presents” that might have been left behind.
Louisa’s parents also flew out for a weekend, just in time to help us begin to move into our new apartment. :) We also got a grill for the new place, and are happily expanding our usual list of dinners. We also rediscovered an enjoyment of Fazoli’s (the breadsticks and baked spaghetti, or chicken parmesan, are favorites), and located an excellent Chinese place near our apartment. Also, if you’re in the mood for some good pizza (think excellent crust, good pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and fresh garlic) and great cannoli, check out Anthony’s II.
