Happy Independence Day!
Jul 4th, 2007 by Tony and Louisa
Happy Fourth of July! We hope everyone has a great day full of fun with family and friends - remember our soldiers, past and present, who defend and support this country.
In other news… here is a great example of the fourth of July spirit. From a local listing for fireworks celebrations across Colorado (and yes, this is the town we live in):
Centennial
The City of Centennial will not have a public fireworks display this year.
The city also says fireworks are illegal in the city of Centennial.
Way to be patriotic, guys. Even the mountain towns who can’t have fireworks because it’s too dry are having laser light shows. But nope. Centennial is just too good for all of that. And I can guarantee that we WILL hear fireworks tonight. Right here. In Centennial. Illegal fireworks.
In other news… Louisa and I went to Lowes and American Furniture Warehouse today to pick up some new stuff for our new apartment (yep, we are moving again in 2 weeks). Among our list of goodies are:
- Hoover Windtunnel II Vacuum
- Dining Room Table
- Coffee Table
- Coat Rack
Here are photos of the vacuum and coffee table:
