While the South Boulder Peak Trail wasn’t our favorite idea for an afternoon hike, it definitely had some great points going for it. If you are interested in taking the hike, you will find the South Mesa Trailhead just south of Boulder right before the Eldorado Canyon State park. Here is a map of the trailhead to get you started. As far as the hike goes, be prepared for a steep climb in the last mile (with lots of rocks). For more information about the hike, check this site.
