Just Two Nerds

I know that this may come as a surprise to everyone (*snickers*), but I’ve decided to redesign the site again after over a year without a major change. This time around I decided to go with a dynamic solution to post my main page instead of the static methods that I used before (and will still use with the photo page). The dynamic solution that I decided to go with is WordPress. I went with this solution for the following reasons:

• A great built-in editor that made it extremely easy to convert my old posts to the new format.
• A great category system that I can use to sort posts (you’ll notice them on the sidebars).
• Louisa and I can post from just about anywhere now.
• A large number of templates and plug-ins that I can use to expand as I see fit.
• A comment system.

I’m sure that there are other reasons, but I am at a loss right now. If you have any comments or suggestions for the redesign, please leave them on this post or the poll.
