12/15/2004 – Props to my favorite band, the Goo Goo Dolls, for releasing a new CD Live in Buffalo July 4th 2004. If you are a fan of the Goos, I would definitely check out the CD/DVD set if I were you
12/13/2004 – It’s that time of the year again folks! That’s right, I’m talking about the holiday shopping season and finals week. Nothing like shopping and test taking to get the country in a frenzy. Not really much to say this time around, except I hope all of you are having a safe and happy holiday season and good luck on finals!
12/12/2004 – For those of you who have to know what I’m doing, I posted my schedule for next semester. And yes, that is a forestry class that I’m taking.
11/25/2004 – Today I added some pictures from Thanksgiving Break, so enjoy!
11/18/2004 – Yep, I actually decided not to slack off and put up some pictures before Thanksgiving Break. I head out tomorrow, so expect some pictures from Richmond, PSU, and back home when I come back to college. I expect to get lots of snapshots, so be ready! For this update, i put up some pics from October as well as a bunch of lost pictures from my old Kodak DC 210 from way way back in the day. Enjoy!
11/17/2004 – Hmm, things are starting to look dead around here again aren’t they? I have some pictures to post, but I might wait until after Thanksgiving break to do that, we’ll see. I plan on getting a bunch of new photos during my trip to PSU. A lot has happened since the last posting (election anyone?), but I think everything has already been said about it and people are moving on for the most part. Let’s see, what else… The Steelers are 8-1 so far this season and have a 7 game winning streak with Roethlisberger as quarterback. That is definitely cause for celebration! I would love to see a Super Bowl appearance by Cowher and crew this year..
10/7/2004 – No rants today, really… haha Just wanted to let you guys know that I’ve added a new demotivational poster to the posters section of the site. I came up with this one late at night, so I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing…
9/20/2004 – I’m sure some of you heard about the admission by CBS that some of the documents involving Bush’s military record can not be positively identified. You know what, I don’t give a rat’s ass anymore. I’m sick of these two candidates going after each other over something that happened a couple decades ago. If these candidates were such poor people, how did they get to the position that they are now (besides $$$ and somehow winning their respective primaries)? Come on people, look at what’s really important in these candidates and pick on that. I still don’t know what I’m going to do in this next election. You know why? No one talks about the issues that matter to me. What are we going to do to finish what we started inIraq and when are we going to go after the real terrorists? Anyone remember Afghanistan? What happened to getting rid of terrorist elements there? Looking at news on this news site from Afghanistan tells us a story of a country that is still under the fear of terrorists. Don’t even get me started on jobs and the economy, that is a whole different rant. We need to really look at our political parties… are they doing what the party really stands for… what are they doing for us ordinary Americans… how can they improve things for us? We need to look at these questions hard before we head to the voting booths this election year. Our lives over the next 4 years will depend on it.
If you feel like discussing these rants, feel free to use the forum I have set up on the server.
9/19/2004 – Who thought up the name for a blog??? Were people too lazy to say web log? Is that really so much harder to say? Oh well, you won’t have to worry about this site calling it self a blog. Sounds too much like blob. Like a goo that runs down the side of your car after a long Friday night when a friend that you’re driving back home had too much to drink. Don’t really know why I care about that so much, so on to the update! Today I added some pictures that Louisa and I took around Blackburg over the weekend. Good times…
9/17/2004 – For those of you who have been using Firefox or Mozilla, you may have noticed that I’ve added a favicon to the site (IE users will not notice unless you bookmark the site first). While this isn’t really a really big enhancement to the browsing experience, I believe it’s just a sign of how far things have come with 3rd party browsing in the past year. I’ve started my browsing experience with Netscape 4, and moved to IE5 and IE6, back to Netscape 6 (believe me, that didn’t last long…), and back to IE6. I’m really impressed with the way that Firefox 1.0 runs, not to mention the way that it renders some pages. I’m not saying it’s right for everyone, but if you are tired of the way that IE6 has been acting it might be worth trying out.
9/13/2004 – Posted the pictures from Grant’s party this weekend. We all wish you the best, and have no doubt that you will kick some ass.
8/28/2004 – Added some pictures of my room in the apartment here.
8/24/2004 – Finally, what you all have been waiting for… My bitterness quiz is finally complete and uploaded. Let me know what you think (good and bad comments are appreciated). If I get a good response with this one, then I might make more. In case you didn’t notice, I also added the forums back to the site. If you feel like chatting, please use them. I’ll check em out at least once a day.
8/22/2004 – Yet another big update this time around. Added some new sections to the page, including a new LAN Zero section. Also added some pictures from Fran’s and Golden’s as well as another old LAN.
7/15/2004 – Another big update – added two new LAN albums from some of our older days of LANing. I also added some info about our LAN group, LAN Zero and some background about the site below the news postings.
7/6/2004 – HUGE update this time around. I’ve added a bunch of new pictures to the page from over the summer. I also plan to put up some old LAN photos that I have laying around during the next few weeks. For those of you interested in starting C++ development, I’ve started a webpage detailing the slides I’m working on. Toss me some suggestions if you have any, they are welcome. Also, if you are in town, I recommend that you check out Dave Pahanish if you are in the mood for some good folk rock.
6/13/2004 – Not really an actual update, but summer vacation is going well, and I’m just chillin at a LAN party. I will try to add some new pictures from vacation so far.
5/6/2004 – This will probably be one of the last updates on here for a while. I will try to get some pictures up from last month’s Florida trip over the weekend, as well as a new pic of the moment from my auto repair work this week. Since no one was really using the forum, I took it down. I might add a PHP based forum later now that I have a database server. I will keep you guys posted.
4/4/2004 – Today is the 4th day of the 4th month of the fourth year of this century…
No real update this time, just thought I would post that news for all of you to enjoy. I will leave you with this: In Soviet Russia, break takes you!!!
3/28/2004 – Added pics from the Gala at Grove City to the photos section, and also added a new pic of the moment.
3/16/2004 – Wow, an actual major update… Put up most of my spring break pictures and even some Photoshop pictures in the comedy archive. There are a ton.
3/15/2004 – Added a bunch of old stuff that I had laying around on my hard drive from previous sites to the photo albums (including some comedy albums that I just happened to find).
2/18/2004 – Add a portion of my group’s Russian Civ project to the top of the page, also added a new conversation.
1/31/2004 – Added a new Demotivational Poster and conversation after not being able to sleep tonight… Also moved everything to their own sections on the site to try and clean things up a bit. And finally, I made a bunch of additions to the “Around VT” section and added some Gumby photos.
1/29/2004 – Added new pictures from Toronto to Photos section. Changed schedule one last time also…
1/24/2004 – Modified my schedule to fit what I am currently taking. Also added some new photos and a new section to hold them all, enjoy.
